2010 OAA Girls Soccer All-League honors

The 2010 girls soccer season was exceptional in the Oakland Activities Association.
Highlighting a season of rivalries, upsets and some of the best soccer in the state was Rochester Adams’ appearance in the final week of play, advancing to the Division 1 state semifinals.
With the soccer season now in the books, its time to look at the season that was and honor the players who helped lead their teams during division races.
Red Division
Rochester Adams stunned the competition by racing to the top of the standings to claim the OAA Red Division championship. The Highlanders finished 8-1-1 to claim their fifth league championship in school history and first since 1999.
Troy Athens took second at 8-2-0. Also in the top five were Troy High (6-2-2), Lake Orion High (6-3-1) and Auburn Hills Avondale (4-4-2).
Rochester (3-2-5), North Farmington (3-4-3), Rochester Hills Stoney Creek (2-3-5), Berkley High (2-4-4), Bloomfield Hills Lahser (1-8-1) and Birmingham Seaholm (0-10-0) rounded out the Red Division.
All-League honorees are Kylie Nylen, Merlin Beckwith, Brittany Buckler, Hanna Lee, Jessica Wineke and Mackenzie Barber, Adams; Marisa Kozikowski, Leah Schmitz, Jordan Penz, Liz Abro and Jenna O’Dell, Athens; Madeline Wideman, Victoria Troccoli, Madison Pines, Emily Dzik and Irene Young, Troy; Andrea Strauss, Regina Nofs, Kayla Mannino and Natalie Lopes, Avondale; Amanda Anton, Haley Burtraw and Hillary Braun, Rochester; Kelsey Shapiro, Hallee Kansman and Sami Roumayah, North Farmington; Abbie Haelewyn, Stephanie Carter and Joanie Siega, Stoney Creek; Natalie Zimmerman, Julie Sheilds and Maggie Britton, Berkley; Hailey Holman, Caroline Eagan and Julia Dale, Lahser; and Lisa White, Hallie Taylor and Sara Sieler, Seaholm.
White Division
Clarkston High captured the OAA White Division title after posting a 9-0-1 record. The Wolves’ closest competitor was Royal Oak High, which finished 6-1-3. Farmington High tied for third with Birmingham Groves at 5-2-3, followed by Ferndale High and Bloomfield Hills Andover (5-3-2).
Rounding out the White Division are West Bloomfield High (4-3-3), Farmington Hills Harrison (3-4-3), Hazel Park High (2-8-0), and Southfield-Lathrup and Pontiac High at 0-9-1.
